The municipality of Odense is running an extensive programme to prevent homelessness and has developed a wide range of housing options for various groups with special needs.

  • Homeless people are housed by a specialized department of the Municipality of Odense, in the Social Centre.
  • Solutions in the area of homelessness are worked out through cooperation with the Danish Government, other departments in the municipality, social welfare organisations, independent or church related organisations, local voluntary organisations.
